PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

 NO NEW INITIATIVES!

When I met with our district administrative team back in August, I shared that I did not feel we needed to add any new initiatives onto our plates.  As an administrator in the district for the past 13 years serving at both the elementary and secondary levels I knew all too well that our teacher’s plates are full and spilling over!

As a team, we agreed that it was time to tighten our focus on what we have in place and what resources do we currently have access too.  We identified key target areas that we felt needed more time on task.

Teach Like A Champion

The teaching staff has spoken and we have listened.  We know our teachers like to “have choices” and be allowed to choose which topics work best

Dr. Tafelski is working closely with our building principals to create a schedule that will allow exposure to different topics with each professional development session.
